Since our Monotype department sprang back to life after a three-year hibernation, we are gradually casting up founts of some of the more interesting and unusual founts, listed here under Type. The Press has one of the widest selections of Monotype faces under a single roof anywhere, particularly after it acquired all the diecases and ancillary equipment from Oxford University Press in 1986. We can also undertake larger setting jobs for those printers who prefer to print from metal type rather than plastic plates. Under blog we are publishing on-line for the first time articles from back issues of Matrix, concentrating on those we feel are particularly relevant and/or interesting for today’s readers.
